We are a Presidential Democracy. We are trade friendly and have an abundance of oil.
Johan Daboul as Head Of State, Jayden Mai as the Intelligence Officer, and Sebastian Morales as the Economic Advisor.
Shalomania's terrain is filled with lots of trees and large plains. These land features benefit our industrial lifestyle since they give lots of space and resources to establish factories. Our climate is a mix between hot summers and cold winters.
Shalomania’s site and situation have a huge negative impact on the country. One of Shalomanias biggest issues is the ongoing rivalry between Shalomania and International Pho. It would not be as big of an issue, but International Pho has a very strong economy, they would be a good trade partner, and they are located very close to Shalomania.
Our terrain is very beneficial for our industrialized state. Our state is a large oil producer which has shifted our economy to an industrial state. This directly proves the idea of Environmental Determinism, because our land use has become more industrialized, and many more people come to our state seeking job opportunities. Our country is very rich in oil but lacks other resources like food and minerals. A challenge our terrain brings is that we have very little space to farm for food, even though our climate is very supportive of farming. Our country begins each round with 15 oils, but no food therefore we are forced to trade with other states just to provide food for our country.
Shalomania is a semi-periphery state because of its economic structure. Wallersteins theory states that most semi-periphery countries are becoming very industrialzied but still rely on the core countries. This directly relates to our economy because not only are we an industrial state, but we also rely on other countries for food and minerals.
The land of Shalomania was discovered by a man named Ziv Shalom. It was discovered during an expedition to search for Gold. Shalom came upon a lush forest in the year of 1724, the waters were crystal clear, abundance of oil and natural resources. As Well as a new route of trade, as the land was claimed and more travelers arrived the settlement thrived. Although there is no farming land due to the uneven landscape. As time passed, Shalomania became known for its beautiful green and luscious forests and plains. It also developed a unique culture that was combined with both founder Ziv Shalom’s culture and the indigenous people. The country also has the largest infrastructure of oil the world has. Shalomania has continued to thrive and develop to the current day, and has mass development in villages and resource infrastructure.
Our state is a great tourist destination because of its peaceful and calm environment. Our country is filled with everyone's favorite stores, amusement parks, beaches, and so much more. Not only do we have urban land, but we also have lots of forests and mountains for people who love to hike. Our most famous and most popular landmark is the Shalom Peak. This is the world's tallest mountain, but we have made it easy and accessible to climb for all people.
